Household Hub privacy
How All About Efficiency, trading as All About Me, handles the information inside your Household Hub — what we collect, what your household members can see, and how your bill documents are stored.
Last updated: 29 August 2026
What the Hub collects
- Household details — the household name you choose and the account owner’s display name.
- Member details — the name, role and email address you enter when you invite someone, plus the account they link when they accept.
- Shared bill records — provider, plan, cost, due and renewal dates, status, who manages the bill, and any notes you add.
- Other recurring bills — name, category, provider, amount, frequency, next due date, notes and any files you attach.
- Savings goals — your savings goals.
- Reminder settings — which reminders each person wants, their lead times, excluded categories, and a log of reminders sent or skipped.
Card details are never collected or stored by us. Payment information is handled directly by Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record.
What members can and can't see
Members you invite get a read-only view of the household. They cannot edit, delete or export the owner’s records.
- Can see: shared bills (provider, plan, cost, due and renewal dates, status), recurring bills you've marked visible to them, attachments on those recurring bills, the member list, and the household spend summary.
- Cannot see: your sign-in credentials, your payment or invoice details, bill check reports and uploaded documents from your own bill checks, recurring bills you haven't shared with them, or any other household you belong to.
- You control visibility per recurring bill — pick specific members, or leave it open to everyone in the household.
- Removing a member, or leaving a household, ends that access immediately.
How bills and documents are stored
- Uploaded bills and attachments are held in private storage — never in a public bucket and never listed on a public URL.
- Downloads are served through short-lived signed links generated only for people entitled to see that record.
- Database access is protected by row-level rules so records are reachable only by the owning account and the members that account has shared them with.
- Data is encrypted in transit, and administrative access is restricted to the small number of people who maintain the service.
- Bill documents you upload for a check are processed by an AI model to extract details and suggest alternatives. They are not used to train third-party models.
Who else touches Hub data
- Hosting, database and file storage providers, acting on our instructions.
- The AI provider used to read and analyse bill documents.
- Paddle — for billing, invoicing and tax only; it does not receive your bill records.
- Our email delivery provider — for invitations, reminders and account emails.
- Authorities, where disclosure is legally required.
We do not sell your household information or use it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
- When a member is removed or leaves, their access ends straight away and their linked account is detached from the household.
- When a Hub subscription ends, sharing switches off but your own records stay in your account so nothing is lost if you come back.
- Account and household data is kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
To request a copy or deletion of your Hub data, email support@allaboutmeaus.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
